Mahsa Amini
22-year-old Mahsa Amini was brutally beaten by Iran’s mortality police on Saturday, September 17 2022. She was tortured for not complying with hijab regulations, and later died from her injuries.
Protests have erupted across Iran, and Iranian women and men are cutting their hair off in response to the murder.
Nika Shakarami
Raped, Tortured, Killed by Iranian police. She was only 16 years old. Nika went missing for 10 days after protesting in Tehran on September 20, 2022.The Iranian security forces stole the body of a 16-year-old protester, and buried her secretly because police did not want her family see her body.
