The Islamic Republic of Iran is home to a Christian community that flourishes in secret. Joshua is one of the founders of the largest Christian groups in Iran today. Born into an affluent, religiously devout Muslim family, Joshua rejected that faith in his mid-teens. After a rebellious youth he converted to Christianity and began his ministry with the homeless and addicted of Tehran, but he couldn’t avoid the scrutiny of the oppressive Iranian government. He was arrested, tortured, and incarcerated in the notorious Evin Prison. After his release he was forced to flee to Turkey as a refugee. While there he began another church to serve the refugee community. Joshua’s arrival in America brings new challenges, new opportunities, and a family he never anticipated. This inspiring true story is a journey through three countries, the joys and losses of a man’s life and his practical approach to faith grounded in the love and acceptance of all people.

The “Seven Colors of Heaven” is a deep dive into the personal life of Joshua as a leader. I have known the pain of betrayal, the ache of loneliness, and the crushing weight of defeat. Yet, through it all, Jesus has been my constant companion, a beacon in the darkest night, a whisper in the fiercest storm. He has never abandoned me, even when I was at my weakest, even when the walls of doubt threatened to collapse around me.
The book I offer to you is not a manual for a perfect life but a map through the wilderness of this world. It speaks of a faith that is not swayed by the fickle winds of fortune or the seductive whispers of doubt. It is a declaration that no matter how fierce the storm, we stand firm in the knowledge that He who conquered death is with us always.
You will read of moments when I have failed, when I have let anger and fear lead me astray, when I have blasphemed in the throes of despair.
In these pages, I have laid bare my soul, revealing the imperfections and the doubts that are a part of the human condition. But what I hope you will see is the power of a faith that endures, a faith that is not defined by our own strength but by the unyielding grace of the Almighty.

Why Joshua DID NOT publish his second book in English,
Edited July 15, 2026- Joshua the Leader of IUHC said, “I wrote this book in English but decided to not publish in English and translated to three other languages”.
I saw what Muslims did in the name of God, so I converted to Christianity, Than I saw Christians having BBQ and watching Football while Thousands of people were massacre by islamic gov. They were complain about gas price but did not say a word about their brothers and sisters in Christ who massacred in other countries. I have nothing to say except I deeply regretted that I published my First book “Becoming Joshua” in English for the Christians in Western Countries”. Living more than a decade in the USA I learned that:
- Most Churches in the USA DO NOT CARE about Persecuted Countries,
- They always look at people from other countries like SECOND or THIRD CLASS CITIZEN.
- They do not want people from other countries in their churches,
- They do not accept you in their communities unless you say things they want to hear or approves.
- They do not want your opinion unless your opinion is a confirmation to what they say.
- All they want is having coffee with you for an hour to make them feel better about themselves.They love titles, prayer worriers, Apostle, Pastor, but in heart they are numb and arrogant. Maybe this is the reason “Arrogance” the Churches falling in the USA, look at Michigan, Texas and some other states that how islam taking over!!! That is why, the book “Becoming Joshua” is for USA people, Not for churches.
- It is not easy to hear the Truth. In the USA, Christians are not use to hear criticism without sugar coding. I am not your pastor who needs your money and donations in order to feed myself and my family. I am Joshua, I am not Sugar coding anything. If you don’t Get use to hear the TRUTH now, one day you wake up and see all your faith was based on nothing except dead churches.

The Judge who sent Joshua in prison & tortured, just because he converted to Christianity, killed by Israel drone
The Islamic gov Judge “Abdolghassem Salavati” who sent Joshua to prison to torture him was killed by Israel bomb on March/03. Salavati presides over Branch 15 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, where he has prosecuted and delivered harsh sentences, including many death sentences, to scores of political prisoners, human rights activists, and peaceful demonstrators, earning him the moniker “the Judge of Death.”
Judge Salavati sent Joshua for 15 month in Evin Prison in Tehran “Iran”, where Joshua were tortured. They throw joshua into a pitch-black, five-foot cube with a low door. He couldn’t stand, stretch, silence consume him, time blurred, for 120 days (picture on the right.2) And 36 days into the smaller pitch-black (picture on the right.1)
